The Monaco Grand Prix wouldn’t be complete without the Amber Lounge, the biggest and most anticipated party of the race season. Founded by Irishwoman and Monaco resident Sonia Irvine, Amber Lounge provides the perfect place for all the racing insiders to come together and let loose after the high-stakes, high-tension race. But it’s also much more than that, including a Charity Fashion Show that involves the F-1 drivers and international celebrities giving their time to strut their stuff on the runway in support of a selected charity. During the glamourous evening, fabulous, exclusive and one-of-a-kind items are auctioned off for good. Over the years, the amount donated by Amber Lounge is in the millions.

Amber Lounge is the premier VIP spot for viewing the Monaco Grand Prix or for partying it up in style afterwards. Starting from early in the day and lasting long into the night, Amber Lounge is where you will be rubbing elbows with models, chart-topping singers, A-list celebrities and perhaps even royalty. And the post-race after-party is the only place you’ll be able to party with Formula 1 drivers - if you can score a ticket!

Priding itself on being an experience rather than a location, they provide a packed schedule over the entire weekend. They kick-off the festivities on Friday evening with the F-1 driver fashion show, charity auction, gourmet dinner and a fashion after-party. Saturday qualifying is enjoyed right near pit lane aboard the Amber Lounge celebrity yacht with frequent driver appearances, free-flowing champagne and fabulous food. The night begins their VIP after-party with top international DJs and a parade of who’s who celebrities. Race day they pull out all the stops for the most anticipated party of the year. Amber Lounge is the only place you’ll find the drivers and their teams blowing off steam together with the world’s top VIPs.

If you want to get in on the action, they offer flexible ticket options; available for a single day, the weekend, or just a dinner. But why miss their legendary party? You may even get to party with the first Monegasque to win the Monaco Grand Prix!

If you want to splurge, their top VIP Methusalem Table package (€26,250) gives you all-access to the best table in the house, a three-course dinner, and then free-flowing

Methusalem bottles (6L) of Champagne and Jeroboam bottles (3L) of premium Vodka. Your table comes with a personal waitress and the best access to the dancefloor.

For 2021, the Amber Lounge Monaco takes place from 21-23 May, will collaborate with Monte-Carlo Fashion Week and the Monaco Fashion Council. Amber Lounge Founder & CEO, Sonia Irvine, said, ''We are delighted and proud to be working with Monte-Carlo Fashion week and the Monaco Chambre of Commerce. We are excited to work with their charismatic team as well as with designers both local to Monaco but also those who strive to design sustainable collections, a first for Amber Lounge. The show will truly be a dynamic show of fashion and motorsport combined.''

This year’s charity fashion show is in aid of Caudwell Children, a charity that helps disabled children and their families have choice, opportunity, dignity and understanding. John Caudwell, the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Caudwell Children said: ''The Amber Lounge’s charity auction has a rich history of raising awareness for important causes, so I am delighted this year’s event will help us to change the future for disabled children. Monies raised will provide the services, equipment, therapies and treatments that disabled children need now – and help to bring about the inclusive societal changes that will empower them to reach their full potential in the long-term.''

Ms Irvine said: ''We are extremely excited to be working with such a proactive charity who support children in vulnerable positions. Over the past 20 years, the charity has supported more than 55,000 disabled children with 653 different medical conditions.''

As well as having a charitable purpose, the other important aim of the event is to showcase local Monegasque designers and brands, or international brands that pay tribute to Monaco through sustainable creations. One featured brand is Beach & Cashmere Monaco by Federica Nardoni Spinetta, all of whose designs are made from upcycled sails, to produce a collection of elegant simplicity and sophisticated modernism.
