International School of Nice

An IB World School offering an anglophone education for children ages 3 to 18.
The International School of Nice offers a complete international education from Young Explorers (age 3) to Grade 12 (age 18) and serves the anglophone community across the French riviera, from Cannes to Monaco.
The Primary School follows the IB Primary Years Programme, a rich, inquiry-based approach to learning that focuses on the individual needs of every child. French is mandatory from age 5, and taught on a daily basis. The Middle School operates as a self-contained unit with its own team of teachers. An EAL programme parallels mainstream English in the Primary and Middle Schools. The High School curriculum prepares students for the IGCSE exams and the IB Diploma. Students are guided and supported to reach their potential in a safe and caring environment. A team of highly-qualified and experienced teachers respond to students’ diverse learning styles and challenges them through exciting and innovative practices. Over 95% of graduates go directly to college/university, primarily in the UK, France and North America.
The faculty represents over 30 nationalities, and the student body is truly a melting pot, representing over 60 nationalities, with students from Anglophone countries making up around 20%. This enables cultural awareness and participation in a globalised world for all our students. There are a number of extra-curricular activities, including a variety of sports, Model United Nations, student leadership programmes, field trips in southern France and class trips to Paris, London, and Florence. The school occupies a purpose-built facility constructed in 1987 and is located five minutes from Nice International Airport.
ISN prepares its students to excel in the world of tomorrow in an inspiring, supporting and nourishing environment.

ICS Côte d’Azur (Formerly EBICA)

The only French and English bilingual primary school offering the IB Primary Years Programme on the French Riviera.
Formerly known as EBICA, ICS Côte d’Azur welcomes students from around the world, offering an international education within the inquiry-based framework of the IB Primary Years Programme, whilst also integrating the national curricula for England and France.
The school attracts internationally-minded families with aspirations for their children to learn in French and English from the early years onwards. Within the multicultural community, students are immersed in both languages with equal measure, in an environment that promotes international understanding while fostering an appreciation of French culture. ICS Côte d'Azur offers a language support programme for French as a foreign language (FFL) learners and English as a foreign language (EFL) learners. These support lessons for beginners assist acquisition in either language, bringing them the linguistic competencies required to access the curriculum and progress with confidence.
Through learner-centred teaching, ICS Côte d’Azur empowers students, as agents in their IB journey, to develop the self-knowledge and confidence to create their successes. In an environment that fosters cross-cultural understanding, students develop the attributes of the IB learner profile, which equips them with the essential skills to be successful in a diverse and connected world.
Sophia Antipolis is a rich area for science and technology, often referred to as the ‘Silicon Valley’ of Europe. To reflect its location, the school offers an innovative STEAM programme (Science, Technology, Maths, Art and Engineering), with a dedicated tinkering lab called ‘The Hub’, LEGO® Education kits, and Apple products in the classroom (the school is an Apple Distinguished School). The vision behind this cutting-edge STEAM initiative is for students to acquire the critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills that will be essential for the future.

All lessons are taught in English, but the school welcomes over 500 children from over 30 nationalities. Mougins School’s Secondary Section provides a fantastic environment for fulfilling academic potential for students, where they are supported closely by teachers and tutors in preparation for their IGCSE and A-Level examinations. They are encouraged to be keen, enthusiastic, independent learners and are given lots of opportunities to develop their interpersonal skills by working and cooperating with others. Through the curriculum they build their self-esteem and self confidence.
Mougins School has a responsibility to ensure that all of its students can enrich their lives through a wide range of activities and programmes that allow individuals to find their passions.
