Summer 2022 will be hot and festive in Cannes !

The Mayor of Cannes, David Lisnard, announces a "massive attack on Cannes" cultural, eventful and festive. On the program: music, cinema, comedy, dance, photography, painting, exhibitions, pyrotechnics... And more than 80 festive and cultural events that will liven up the summer season !

THIS SUMMER MARKS THE RETURN OF KEY AND TRENDY EVENTS that contribute to Cannes' influence. Among them, "Les Plages Électro" will once again set the Croisette ablaze for three days of celebration (August 5, 6 and 7) on the sand and in the water. For this 2022 edition, the festival is going all out: on stage, nationally and internationally renowned headliners such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Kungs, Paul Kalkbrenner... The big Open Water Party in the heart of the bay in the middle of buoys and an aquatic DJ set with Cut Killer on the turntables as well as wild after parties that will go on until the end of the night. Then, backstage, many animations and novelties such as a musical tour of the Lerins Islands on a catamaran, new spaces and a backstage area where festival-goers will be able to enjoy the show just a few meters from the DJ. "Le Bal des Fous" is also back on July 17, 23, 24 and 31 and August 13, 14, 21 and 28 on the Riviera Terrace of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. Take advantage of this popular festival to let your childish soul express itself, this grain of madness and this irrepressible desire to simply let go and have fun like crazy on the rhythms of the DJs !

Other big events are also expected this summer in Cannes, notably from July 4 to 9 with the arrival of comedy talents at the Big Perf, formerly known as "Actor's Performance", an ambitious, modern and innovative comedy festival. This first edition will be marked by :

- A grand gala "Dress code required" orchestrated by Tom Villa, which will receive distinguished guests such as Arnaud Ducret, Pierre Palmade, Elodie Arnould and will be broadcast in the fall on the Canal + group channels

- A stand up scene on the rooftop of the Partouche Casino 3:14

- An holoporté show in world premiere

- The Comedy Verse, the first humorous metaverse with games, joke contests, and improvisation sessions with the festival's comedians
